Objective: To meet the requirements for Massachusetts Regulation - 105 CMR 590.009(E)that “…requires that all food service establishments containing (25) twenty-five seats or more must have a person certified in choke saving on premises when food is being sold.”
Length: 1.5 Hours (90min)
Participants in this program will learn how to:
- Address Choking and Other Life-Threatening Emergencies
- Identify Signals of Life Threatening Emergencies
- Understand Good Samaritan Laws
- Respond when conscious adult, child or infant with obstructed airway becomes unconscious
- Respond to someone showing signs and symptoms of a medical emergency
- Practical training with mannequins including:
- How to clear an obstructed airway in conscious adults, children and infants
- Learn Adult Hands-Only CPR
- Child CPR (including rescue breaths)
- General AED awareness
On successful completion of this program including the hands-on skills training, participants will be issued a certificate of attendance, and wallet card as requested, valid for 1 year, by Community911 Training Inc. attesting that they have met the objectives of this program.
